INTERLUDE OF AGES
Interlude of Ages
After 36 years of crafting melodies across a lifetime, Marcangelo returns with "Interlude of Ages" — a stunning collection of ten orchestral pieces that serve as both a reflection and a revelation. Each track is a snapshot from a different creative chapter, weaving together decades of emotion, experience, and orchestral depth. A necessary follow-up to his acclaimed album "The Seed of the Last Word", this new work doesn’t just continue the journey—it pauses time itself, inviting listeners to dwell in the space between memory and imagination. For fans of sweeping strings, Synthestral, cinematic brass, melodic woodwinds and storytelling without words, "Interlude of Ages" is a masterclass in patience and passion.

THE SEED OF THE LAST WORD
The Seed of the Last Word
In a realm where time had exhausted its final grain of sand, there existed the Last Storyteller, whose only duty was to recite the history of existence to the silent, starless void. For eons, she narrated tales of creation and collapse, love and loss, until her voice was a whisper and the chronicle was complete. On the day she uttered the ultimate syllable—the "full stop" of all that ever was—a profound silence settled. But within that silence, the void, having absorbed the complete vibration of the story, began to stir. It was not the silence of absence, but of potential; the final word, echoing in the absolute stillness, did not fade but instead inverted itself, transforming into a fundamental, resonant frequency. The end of the tale became the first vibration, the primordial hum from which all new frequencies would emerge, proving that the universe’s greatest conclusion was not a period, but a seed.
Thus, her purpose was revealed not as an act of memorial, but of midwifery. The Last Storyteller was, in truth, the First Listener. Her epic recitation had not been an obituary for a dead cosmos, but the precise incantation needed to prepare the blankness for conception. The moment her narration ceased, the void—now imprinted with the complete pattern of all that had been—began to differentiate, to dream. The silence after the last word was the canvas, and the echo of the finished story was the brush. She sat now in the nascent dark, not with the sorrow of an archivist at the close of a file, but with the patient anticipation of a gardener who has just finished planting a singular, universe-containing seed in perfectly fertile nothingness. The end was the only possible genesis.

POSTCARDS FROM A WAKING DREAM
Postcards From A Waking Dream
Marcangelo Perricelli’s Postcards from a Waking Dream marks a masterful return to the piano—not in flourish, but in whisper. Here, Perricelli the soloist is a ghost in his own machine, threading fragile, crystalline motifs through the dense, slow-moving weather of a full orchestra. The effect is less a performance than a memory echoing inside a cathedral; his sparse, resonant notes serve as the only fixed points in an otherwise shifting, ambiguous landscape of layered brass and hovering strings, grounding the album’s vast sound in a deep, human intimacy.
This renewed focus on the piano transforms what could be an exercise in pure atmosphere into a poignant emotional dialogue. While the orchestration builds immense, shadowy vistas—a sublime, almost overwhelming wash of texture—it is Perricelli’s vulnerable touch at the keys that invites the listener inward. Each hesitant phrase feels like a moment of clarity surfacing from a deep, collective dream, proving that the most profound weight in music often comes not from force, but from the quiet, resonant space between the notes.

WITCH AND WIZARD
The journey began longer ago than I can consciously remember - a feeling of knowing there was somewhere I belonged, but not knowing how to find it or if it was even possible. Or, whether it existed at all. Always drawn to the music, art & history of the distant past, I was somehow displaced in the contemporary world on some sort of deep, primal level. I always felt it but could never put it into words because I didn’t fully understand it.
Until now.
I have finally found that time & place. Surprisingly, the time is the present. The place is called DragonWoods. Reminiscent of times past - simpler, cleaner, wilder, more spiritual - it’s nestled in a valley surrounded by rolling hills abundant with various forms of woods, water & wildlife. Its beauty, energy & forces affect & take total control of me at times. I am at its mercy & give into them completely. It has all become me as I have become it - every whispering leaf, every blade of grass, every passing cloud & every falling raindrop or flake of snow. The air is sweet & out here, the thunder echoes. The many birds captivate me with their plumage, antics & cacophony of calls. The frogs sing me to sleep & the trickling stream accompanies them in their lullaby. The starlit night skies are a mass of silver-white sparkles, the fog envelops the treetops like a soft, billowing gown of flimsy gauze. The air is always clean & filled with seasonal fragrances. Everything is in its purest form. I am in awe & humbled by it all & welcome its gift of life-energy. There is power, magic & mystery here. I am totally under its spell. My heart has now found love in its truest form. My soul has finally found the home it’s been searching for. I have found my peace.??These words have merely explained, but hopefully the music will allow you to feel that remnant of our primordial selves that still remains. All we have to do is pay attention to the call. It’s there - in all of us. So listen to the music & may you find your love, your home, your peace.?? Marcangelo
